Annie first became interested in communication disorders when she was in college attending an American Sign Language class. “My professor, who was deaf, fascinated me and I knew I wanted to be involved in helping people communicate their wants and needs. I really enjoy working in a variety of settings and being able to work with people throughout the lifespan. This profession allows me to be creative by individualizing a client’s treatment plan to meet their goals.”

Annie’s professional interests include disorders related to speech and language (speech sound disorder, language delay, aphasia, Dysarthria, stuttering) as well as auditory, visual, cognitive, oral muscular, respiratory, swallowing, and vocal functioning.
