When you are passionate about a sport, exercise, or sport-related activity, it is difficult to enjoy those activities when experiencing an injury or pain. Our Sports Medicine team is made up of specially-trained orthopaedic surgeons and an expert team of certified athletic trainers, physical therapists, occupational therapist.  We also work with your primary care providers to ensure coordinated care.  The team works together with you to develop a treatment plan that gets you back to performing your best.

We can help you after an injury, but we’re also here to help prevent them. We offer many programs to enhance your physical fitness, prevent injuries, train your muscles to respond to strenuous exercise, and excel in athletic endeavors.

When you’re injured playing sports or recreational activities, timing is crucial. Having easy access to information and professionals is critical. Our team ensures a timely and thorough plan of care for your injury.

With just a phone call you can:

  • Discuss your situation with a Licensed Athletic Trainer
  • Schedule a time for a low cost consult – usually within 48 hours
  • Get advice on what to do in the meantime
  • Receive a physician referral – and advice on what type of doctor to see
  • Get help with insurance or authorization questions
  • Help ease the anxiety and confusion of what to do next
  • Get advice on return to play or activity modifications

When you call the Sports Information Line, our ATs answering your call are the same highly trained professionals that you see on the sidelines at the high school, college and professional levels. They are often the first ones to evaluate an injury, as managing injury situations right away ensures you will get the help you need – and fast.
