What is Occupational Therapy?

Our Occupational Therapists use therapeutic intervention to help people across the lifespan return to the activities they enjoy. They enable people to live life to the fullest by supporting them through injury and illness, and by assisting people with self-care and work related tasks. Our therapists are specially trained in customizing treatment plans for various musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cognitive and perceptual disorders.

Common injuries/diagnoses include:

  • Wrist fractures
  • Wrist sprains/strains
  • Stroke
  • Sensory processing disorders
  • Arm and Hand fractures
  • Nerve injuries
  • Tendon injuries
  • Tendonitis
  • Neurological conditions

We use a team centered approach with Dr. Bliss, Board Certified Hand Specialist and his partners at Orthopaedic Associates.

Let our Occupational Therapy Team help your return to your optimal life.
