PCS Defined

Post-Concussion Syndrome (PCS) is defined as “symptoms and signs of a concussion that persist for weeks to months after an incident.” If any of these following symptoms last for more than 14 days, our Concussion Team can help manage symptoms and help an injured person return to normal daily life and activities:

 

  • Concentration and memory complaints
  • Irritability and other personality changes
  • Sensitivity to light and noise
  • Sleep disturbances
  • Depression
  • Disorders of taste and smell
  • Balance disturbances
  • Vertigo
  • Headaches
